About Our Royal Inks for FINE POINT pens

Templar Ink, Royal, is our premium ink. It is an ink like no other. Some of the great features of this ink are as follows:

Striking, bright colors that stay bright with that "wet" look even years later

Water-proof, so that even a heavy soaking and wipping will not wash it away

Dries quickly to prevent smearing and feathering

Thicker than most other inks with less bleed through

Thin enough for some nice shading and opacity, assuring good legibility

Easy, consistent flow from the pen, with the line starting at the beginning of each stroke

Contains natural oils for lubrication while writing and to reduce bacterial growth

Slight, pleasant odor of cloves

No "nib creep"

Will often wash out of clothing in a machine wash with standard laundry detergents

Specially designed for fine point pens

This ink is thicker than many other inks, so we do recommend that the feed and nib be flushed with clear water after every second or third filling to reduce the possibility of clogging and staining
